Hosted by Experimenta, the 2022 Ecsite Conference will be held on 2-4 June, in Heilbronn, Germany.
Ecsite is the European network of science centres and museums. Ecsite’s vision is to foster creativity and critical thinking in European society, emboldening citizens to engage with science. Its mission is to inspire and empower science centres, museums and all organisations that engage people with science, and to promote their actions.
The 2022 Conference edition will be held at a very special place with a unique atmosphere: at a camp in the city of Heilbronn. With its surprising and unusual spaces, it will provide places and moments for stopping to take a deep breath, for reflection, for manifold inspiring encounters – and it will allow attendees to look at the things they do from new perspectives. How do we best confront the global challenges we are facing? How do we best embolden citizens to engage and participate in science? How do we best encourage sharing and working together in our community? The unusual conference setting will inspire attendees to develop fresh answers to these questions.
