The next Culture, Health and Wellbeing International Conference will be held fully digitally in 2021 with the overarching themes of Inequality, Power, and Sustainability.
The Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance is a new national organisation representing everyone who believes that cultural engagement and participation can transform health and wellbeing; it brings together the National Alliance for Arts, Health and Wellbeing and the National Alliance for Museums, Health and Wellbeing and involves over 50 leading organisations. During the global crisis, the arts and creativity have helped us navigate uncertainty and been agents of hope. With overarching themes of inequality, power and sustainability, the conference will be a space to explore individual and collective experiences and articulate a vision for the future. It will showcase inspiring work from across the field and encourage lively debates informed by different perspectives on the arts, creativity, culture, health, wellbeing and inequalities. It will be spanning policy, research and practice and learning from across the whole ecosystem.
To place lived experience and co-production at the heart of the programme, regular monthly drop-in sessions from September will be held to discuss and share ideas for the conference content and how to collaborate with others to ensure access for their local communities.
