Over four weeks, the online programme of MuseumNext DISRUPT will feature talks, interviews, and perspectives from leading museum thinkers around the world.
As the world has been facing unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter protests and an ongoing climate crisis, 2020 will lead to permanent shifts. How can museums make sense of the ground shifting beneath their feet? How can they provide better leadership in tough times? How are they reinventing themselves?
Week 1 ("Disruption") will look at living with disruption and the tools and techniques that can help us to be more resilient. Week 2 ("Challenging Convention") will discuss how we can challenge convention and create positive disruption within our organisations with new ideas and innovative technologies. Week 3 ("Making Change Happen") will talk about the practical side of making change happen within organisations. Week 4 ("What's Next?") will look at how the world will change over the next decade and how we can confidently step into this and lead change.
